It's clearly a make it right move. Garland isn't going after anyone. This is them trying to make it right for his lost seat.
Garland is a p*ssy. He isn't going to go after Trump. Prosecution of Trump will now be left to Tish James & Cy Vance.
Also, some more progressive measures Garland won't implement at the DOJ.
