it may be a mostly psychological hurdle, but it appears real with just about everybody i talk to. people say they dont feel right with a car that cant be full within a 10 minute trip to the circle k. and they want all gas stations to have them. they want the gas experience, LOL
to me, that's more of an issue with need to expand the charging network and educating people about public charging. this isn't even a thing in the urban areas out here as damn near every shopping plaza lot/structure, apartment building built within the past 5 years, parking garage near downtowns/office buildings, hotel lots, and public trans lots all have chargers. in the rare case you didn't charge overnight, you can charge for 30 mins-1 hour while you grocery shop, see a movie, sit in your office at work. etc.

edit: we even have chargers in a few street parking spots every other block or so in certain areas

for the amount of time needed, the number of units per location is not great if the number of drivers is to increase

you'd need a critical mass of drivers who don't charge their cars at night and are down to the point they can't get home. charging a car aint like phones where people just plug in for the fukk of it just because a charger is available. and how many times do you stop for gas while still being 1/2 full? people won't be out charging their car (it aint free in most places) while still having 250 miles left.

i also see a lot of charging slots sit unused, even here with a higher density of EVs you're not seeing a charging crunch. there just aren't many EV drivers who don't charge their cars at home (and for apartments, it's a reserves a charger, charge and move thing, so you don't need 300 chargers for all 300 parking spaces). lastly, 15 mins on a fast charger can get you anywhere from 80-280 miles, again, the majority of people will be able to finish their errands or get home with that.

There are protections in there for interracial marriage as well from what I understand. Also lol at TLR talking point thing
:hubie: I ain’t hating on interracial marriage, but that’s not something I would tote as Biden/Democrats directly addressing issues that black people are concerned about. If the PR side of his admin actually pointed to that as something he’s done for black people, I would take it as an insult tbh.

You think Democrats not fulfilling their campaign talking points and not fighting, in truly effective ways, for the people they claim they represent (working class, black people, etc) for decades now…is simply ‘narrative’, you see no truth in that? If there was no truth in that, how is somebody like Bernie Sanders even be a thing? There would be no need for his type.

The original point of democrats letting shyt such as abortion rights linger so they can use it as campaign point and fear of right wing candidates isn’t too different from them waiting to address issues right before midterms and shyt like that.

And if anything, if they addressed the shyt they had the capability to back in the day, the Democrat Party would probably be slightly more ‘progressive’ now and working on passing more ‘progressive’ policies. The overton window would be more or include more “left” than currently.

But no, we as a nation gotta keep reverting back to step 1.

I’m sorry but it’s literally a right that everyone has being stripped from you.

Someone stated “they ain’t doing shyt for black people” literally doing the same thing for black people and gay people in the same bill.

Also LOL at the implication that I’m some kind of democrat apologist. There’s plenty of shyt to criticize democrats for this bill isn’t even remotely close to it. fukking weirdo homophobes on this board just happen to agree with the Nazis about gay marriage

My homie showed me something he got from his Postal union….

"In a July 5 video to postal workers, he revealed the
outlines of a new transportation plan that will
consolidate the Postal Service's current 435 mail-
processing plants into at least 60 regional
processing facilities.
Its up to you to save your job. make every job on
every tour at every plant or station matter by
participating in the union. If your job is being done
by someone else, file a grievance. If you are doing
the work of 2 or more people, find out how to help
your union file a grievance to create a job for that
extra person. No matter how long it takes or how
many times you have to do it, help your union save
your job. If the complaint never exists on paper over
(every single time) there is nothing going on at all.
(every single time)

I’m not sure how the process appointment or removal of DeJoy works…but on its surface it seems wild to me how everybody was shytting on DeJoy for slowing down postal stations, restricting overtime, fukking with the election, being a supporter of privatization….but yet, Biden is still letting him rock?

435 to 60 facilities would be a fukking huge cut in jobs available.

you're really out of touch brah
Have to agree here. Depending on where you live, there's no infrastructure, space or the local government is actively fighting implementation. Unfortunately, it's going to take decades to streamline mass adoption

We literally have cocksuckers on this board that push this bullshyt every fukking day. Literally on the board talking about how we should just executing people and doing a new crime bill. Unspeakably evil shyt

“Copaganda does three main things. First, it narrows our understanding of safety. Police get us to focus on crimes committed by the poorest, most vulnerable people in our society and not on bigger threats to our safety caused by people with wealth and power.

For example, wage theft by employers dwarfs all other property crime combined — from burglaries, to retail theft, to robberies — costing some $50 billion every year. Tax evasion steals about $1 trillion each year. There are hundreds of thousands of Clean Water Act violations each year, causing cancer, kidney failure, rotting teeth, and damage to the nervous system. Over 100,000 people in the United States die every year from air pollution, five times the number of all homicides.“
