I’m not opposed to this…but this does somewhat feed into the whole doing more for LBGT, than for other groups (labor groups, Black people, middle class, etc etc)…basically Chappelle’s whole thing.

Like you’ll actually do your job for this, but Obama didn’t think codifying Roe v Wade way back was important enough? You’re willing to put women’s or black people’s in the balance so you can campaign on it…but not this.

There are protections in there for interracial marriage as well from what I understand. Also lol at TLR talking point thing

on EVs...i see the growth in them eventually slowing down until we get solid state batteries. growth in commercial EV can grow more, but some civilians are going to need EV to be as fast to charge as it is to fill up the tank.

I'm interested to see how growth continues once it no longer is a status symbol to have an Eav.

the median range for EV's is 234 miles per charge, how many daily drives are exceeding that to the extent they'd need to "refill"? those who are exceeding that and need a quick refill are likely on a roadtrip or driving rurally/commercially - those people can continue to buy ICE cars. the goal isn't for everyone to have an EV for every occasion, it's to highly penetrate daily commuters/errand runners who drive 100 miles per day max (we'd all agree a 50 mile commute is on the long side).

Tesla is the only status EV, Leaf and Bolt drivers are in some of the most swagless cars. Unless you count those who care about the environment as "status". I think it we'll see a second wave of growth the more people realize how much less maintenance they require and sit down and really look at the cost of fuel savings, we also need more EV suv's with traditional designs, i think the design aesthetic of many EV's isn't in line with the common consumer's design preference, more traditional looking EVs in the SUV segment will further open the EV market.

it may be a mostly psychological hurdle, but it appears real with just about everybody i talk to. people say they dont feel right with a car that cant be full within a 10 minute trip to the circle k. and they want all gas stations to have them. they want the gas experience, LOL
