nikka bluetooth has been out for years. But it hasn't been a standard in whips for years.

Breh...they started to put bluetooth standard in HONDA CIVICS in 2013 year models. Every car made since 2014 has it, basically. From KIA all the way up to Mercedes.

So many Coli posters brag about their money but come to find out a majority don't have bluetooth in their car because they are pushing 5 year old cars? :mindblown:

Apple isn't doing this to be 'taste makers' they are doing it to try to slim the phone down and make it water proof because for some reason consumers need a water proof phone now. That's where it gets stupid if you ask me.

Im from brooklyn dawg fall back. Like i said nikkas dont have cars like that in the hood. Stick to the subject at hand
PEOPLE, not just nikkas, don't have cars like that in NYC, best believe nikkas got cars in the hood elsewhere
lol, like a REAL audiophile would be using compress to hell MP3's anyway
so basically take something that's operating at 85% quality, and then play it thru something that reduces quality to about 50%....or do a direct connection and keep the 85% :jbhmm:

I know this already. But ok. This is my point. So say u have a 5 year finance on ur whip. And u got ur whip in 2012 or 2011. U either still paying it off or u just finished. U gonna go get a new whip cause of some fukkin bluetooth? Even if ur COMPLETELY satisfied with ur car? It's a car nikka not new phone. Not everybody wanna keep either fukkin wit they whip or switching shyt out.

If you got your whip in 2012, it's a 2013 model that has bluetooth.

If you got your whip in 2011 you should probably get ready to buy a car anyways. And you don't have to just buy a car for bluetooth....since they all come with it now :stopitslime:

Head units have had usb connections for a really long time too. Is everyone rocking stock head units on their 2011 cars too?

I got to agree. I didn't get bluetooth in the whip but I plan on upgrading my audio systems anyway.
What really bothers me is what am I going to do with headphones. I hate the thought of having to charge headphones

Theyre trying to go a new technolgical way with bluetooth headphones, but forcing it down our throats aint whats poppin.

The phone will still have stero loudspeakers right? Will they be louder if they're removing the headphone jack and adding another speaker (based on op's photos)

:what: why would a person perfectly happy with their car switch it for no reason? That's stupid. nikka I'm from NY. Unless u live on LI or upstate a car isn't even a necessity. It's like yall not even attempting to try to use deductive reasoning.

so,no one else can set the aux cord off just be touching it with their forehead..:ohhh::sas2:

I was wondering what kind of magical aux cords everyone else uses because half the time you jump in someones car with one it's shorted, the sound quality is fukked up, or you got to angle your phone all weird in their cup holder just to get it to play at all :pachaha:

People on average switch cars every 3-4 years, regardless. Those are solid statistics based on car sales in the US. So if your car is 6 years old, chances are you want to switch anyways. So you get a new whip and ALL OF THEM have bluetooth. Even 12k fukking KIAs.

That's great you are from NYC but your guys situation isn't like the rest of the country so stop trying to apply it. "Oh we don't got cars in the hood and no need to get new cars in New York!" so?????? Then you shouldn't worry about the AUX cord because they aint on the subway anyways.

I don't know what kind of shyt head units/systems you guys have but bluetooth/usb sounds fine to me. If you have a car that doesn't have Bluetooth/USB in 2016 you probably don't have the cash to buy the 800 new iphone anyways so "crisis" adverted.
this is stupid as fukk. I bought a brand new 08 accord coupe back in 07 and that shyt didn't have USB nor Bluetooth, that body style is still being used - with minor adjustments - and Hondas last forever, so someone is supposed to simply upgrade their car to be compatible with their phone? Gtfoh. I ended up selling that car when I went to grad school and have since bought a new one, but Bluetooth/USB wasn't really becoming standard until 2010...most people aren't driving a 2010+ car.

As i said, people gonna lose that shytty adapter. I work in tech and between public transportation commutes and a culture of headphones in the office, that shyt is gonna pop out a pocket or purse or get knocked off a desk as people are in transit to work or sitting at their desks fumbling back and forth between shyt that does and doesn't need an adapter.

nikka bluetooth has been out for years. But it hasn't been a standard in whips for years. Especially the base models. I work on car and home audio nikka u barking up the wrong tree. Talking bout "step ya car game up". nikka I got bluetooth connection in my whip and I have a dope sound system. Would NEVER play music thru that shyt over a hard connection. Wanna know why? Cause I invested in a dope sound system. And love dope sound. All u "wireless is better" nikkas don't know shyt about audio. And this even goes for home audio. Go and get a specialist and have them recommend sound for ur crib and see what they say. In car audio if u the driver. The shyt ain't even more convenient being that the device in right next to u in the car anyway. Like I said. It's one thing to like using a bluetooth connection. A completely different thing to act smug about it like it's BETTER. When it in fact is one of the worst ways to listen to music out there.
