:what: Have you not been in a car with other people where an AUX is passed around? Like people got the desire or even the wherewithal to set up their phone's bluetooth and shyt. An AUX is a quick 2 seconds, setting up a bluetooth takes not only messing around with your phone settings but also the car settings which is different for every car interface. Not only that but its totally inconvenient switching inputs in bluetooth, and socially awkward if you're trying to accomplish what AUX passing does.
Setting up the bluebooth never works right like when your phone is dead and your friend cant connect to it.

Apple killed netbooks and created the Ultrabooks market.
OG iMac did away with floppies showing it was no longer needed.
Optical drives still being used? :mjlol: OK
Apple blocked flash from their ios platform and pushed everyone to support HTML5. That killed them in the mobile market.

Haters always denying Apples influence and come this fake outrage when they do something different.

:dead: you sound like a fukking sheep nikka

the fact you buy into all the buzz words apple throws at you shows how much of a dumb ass you are.

i had over 7000 songs on my galaxy s5 before it died, it it wasn't for iMessage and the overall performance from the phone and how long they last without technical problems I would go back to droid, these apple fakkits pretty much want people to buy streaming services if you don't have a computer :beli:

then you can't even use Apple Music if your not on wifi if your songs aren't already stored in your cloud :mindblown:
???? What???

You can use Apple Music on data if you want. Or download the songs on to your phone over wifi to not have to use data.

You dudes stay making stuff up.

But lol at the bolded, is that all huh?

Laptops still have dvd/RW / Blu-ray drives... Apple dont even give muthafukkas that option... :what: Except some external bullshyt
Meh, I removed my optical drive from my macbook'pro like 3 years ago and installed a second hard drive in its place.
A lot of ppl just don't use it. And it takes up a lot of space and uses battery. I haven't even needed it or missed it.

Guess i'm sticking with my 6

can't understand how anyone would be ok with, let alone celebrate the removal of something that facilitates usage and makes the product more convenient for a wider audience. Especially when whatever potential benefits aren't even readily identifiable or tangible. nikkas really in here like "yes apple!! restrict my product!! the more anti-consumer the better!!". wild.

this move is neither innovative or useful for the consumer, it actually feels quite archaic, and the inclusion of the adaptor proves that. It is making you, the consumer, to do "more" (in this case using an adaptor) to get the equivalent usage you got out of older models. technologies should push the envelope to include more methods of usage, not less, unless the gains were potentially so significant that justified the loss of "older" technology, that is not the case here. the headphone jack is getting sacrificed for what? non noticeable design form?

yeah but within 2 years it will likely become the norm

Anti social tech nerds trying to make real daily life as wack and antisocial as their own.

Apple did good to make the mp3 player into a mainstream phenom with the iPod.
Yet as the iPod became the iPhone apple has shown why they suck at computers in real time and everything else including their iPhone as well.

fukk apple.

This shyt is unbelievable. The phone looks EXACTLY the same as the last one and their removing features and these too cool for school ass nikkas is not only celebrating it. But shytting on people who ain't wit it like we're the ones bugging and we need to get wit the times is some of the most retarded shyt I've ever seen. The smarter thing to do would be implement a design change but no. Not Apple. They need Steve Jobs and it shows.

if your car has a USB hookup or bluetooth, you're good. my car does not, so I need the aux cord. however, I'm not getting a new phone anyways this year, so I'm good to go.

iphone 7 also ships with a lightning to 3.5mm adapter so you will still be able to use the aux anyways. however, you won't be able to charge and play music at the same time in the car, which is bullshyt.

man, I haven't used an optical drive in over 4 years. my MPB doesn't have one which is fine cuz it makes the laptop thinner. my work lenovo laptop has one, and that shyt is useless in 2016.
