It was something I saw on TV but “dope boyz” “heavy chevys” “do it” “what’s yo name” and “hotel” were what we always heard at house parties. I also used to see the “I’m serious” promotional suburban/Tahoe riding around downtown Atlanta, wrapped in the album promo art. It was pretty obvious his music was going to stick. People would play the album front to back (with a few skips) at parties. Once the “In da streetz vol 2” mixtape dropped, and promo from trap muzik, shyt was EVERYWHERE. Plus the random “lacs and ‘prices” feature that somebody kept requesting on the box and shyt lol.

Nobody was checking for it, It was a funny time, Mystikal was on top.

Rap had become "pop" "gangsta" rap was not being made.

I fukked with the album when it came out.

I started "ripping" songs off that CD and started adding to my mixtapes, Choose you was one

Not well.

Any other answer is revisionist cap.

Ti became a better artist worth a hard copy purchase when he was ghostwriter by dro on twenty f'oh's.

To have a run to crown a genre.

Plus be the definitive label in pushing forward the current sonic palette and genre of all music.

I know so because I am the review guy who wrote and made any lurker take note to strap a rocket ship to their back.
