So unless we don't kill ourselves, humans can still live for hundreds of millions of years more.
By then we should become a multi-planetary specie after maybe terraforming mars.
So all that energy could be diverted not only to earth but many planets.

Imagine, one central power coming from a natural occurring star powering multiple planets humans live on.
Anyhow that part is merely theoretical, for that to work all planets should be in the same solar system, and not all planets are liveable for humans. Some planets don't even have land to live on, it's just a giant ball of gas.

But if we have spaceships with crazy speed, maybe we can travel to another solar system.
