It’s not like they’re headquartered in one of the most populous cities on Earth filled with video games lovers. O wait

Xbox dropped the ball hardcore. Cancelled my game pass cause I don't have the storage capacity and even if I did buy another 80 dollar storage pack, my game system can only hold 500 GB at a time so I constantly have to move things around. Tired of that shyt :camby:

No exclusives worth a damn. Who the hell releases a system and doesn't have a dedicated game studio pumping games out? All these day one mid 6.0 games.

Anybody who buys a kid an Xbox over a Nintendo switch/PS5 this Christmas really hates that kid and wants them to cry

In some respects the Switch and the Xbox aren't really competing with each other. You can go back to the original Xbox and add up both Xbox and PlayStation sales and regardless of what Nintendo sales the numbers will combined to be within about 11 or so million of each other every generation.

PS2 159 million Xbox 24 million total 183 million
PS3 87 million Xbox 360 85 million 172 million
PS4 117 million Xbox One 58 million 175 million

In other words the PlayStation and Xbox aren't really growing their number of customers. Since they are competing for the same limited number regardless of what Nintendo does you'll get situations where if Sony outsells Microsoft heavy enough Xbox numbers will be lower than Nintendo's.

Nintendo in that span has had generations there consoles have sold like 101 million with the Wii the PS3/360 generation almost 22 million with the GameCube almost 14 million with the Wii U. None of that impacted those numbers.

Real simple. It's a toy primarily sold to young kids. kids are likely to break their toys, so parents will gladly replace their kid's electronic babysitter.

Fixed.

Either way the people willing to buy Nintendo products don't have Sony or Microsoft ownership impact that decision. Nintendo isn't really operating under the same limits Microsoft is. If Microsoft sells an Xbox there's a high chance it came at the expense of someone buying a PlayStation. If Nintendo sells a Switch it doesn't really matter what else the buyer owns.
