I think Slim snatched the wrong chains in the the club

And Dolla and his bloods were "bullying" some guy...apparently he was a normal kid but they fell out over a bytch or something...I forget. When that was going on there was the same account/story of it floating around in every comments section reporting Dolla's death I'll try to find it

:snoop: Dolla was a Crip.

Anyway He beat dude up in Atlanta (think it was the airport) and they both flew out to LA like that same day.The dudes Dolla had friction with knew he would be at the mall. Dude shot Dolla in the dome when he seen him at the Beverly Center Mall valet parking area.

HIS MOMS STILL IN THE HOOD

March of 2002 – "Big Lee", Leroy Larry Phinazee was killed on the same streets as L, looking to find who killed his brother. However, Leroy's killer was apprehended and was sentenced to thirty six years flat.

February 10th, 2008 – Gilda "Pinky" Terry, Donald and Leroy Phinazee's and Lamont Coleman's mother, died

His moms dying is what messed up the Big L documentary. It was going to drop but when she passed by law his dad got the rights to control it. Only problem was he was never in Big L's life and only cared about money. The people doing it didn't even want to do it since his dad would reap the rewards and didn't care about L. I guess all that has changed since Big L's brother is out. Unless that other doc with the trailer floating around was a different one from the one his brother spoke on.

They see me trolling, they hating.....
but yeah Big L is hands down the SADDEST story in hiphop

Big and Pac died at around the same age but atleast they got to temporarily enjoy success and the fruits of their labor.

L wasn't some hypeman who was gonna remain a sidekick all his life like Proof (no disrespect) dude had the "IT Factor" that guys like Nas, Jay Z, Eminem etc had. I don't see why Big L couldn't do Mase "Harlem World" numbers if he had a proper mainstream backing. That's what makes it so tragic. And cats ain't just saying that cause he died (when nikkas die ppl usually make dude out to be bigger than they are) nikkas KNEW HE HAD NEXT. Jay Z said on flex (or was it angie) that the paperwork was done and all they were waiting on was L's signature. Imagine Big L, Sigel and Jay Z on the same label in 1999/2000? and then a year later Camron joining.

damn, shyt woulda been cray

Yea yeah, Flamboyant Entertainment (no doubt)

Yo, y'all fellas like to stress them chicks
Impress them chicks, spend money to dress them chicks
I sex them chicks and send them home
Corleone is known to be stoned
When I bone, I'm rubbered up in case that shyt full blown
The other night around 8 P.M.
Pockets crazy slim, jumped out the gray BM
Went to the ATM, took a thou' out
then later on I had to wild out
In the club, knock some coward and his pal out
Then afterwards went to the restroom, pissed Cristal out
Now I'm thinkin - which chick number I could dial out
Cause it's L, the Harlem pimp baby, for real
I got more dimes than that Sprint lady
And that's ill, playa haters be givin me harsh looks
but I'm tryin to sell records like Garth Brooks
So eff 'em all, when it's cold I throw the skelly on
Illegal chips keep my celly on
Mega-ice is what I'm heavy on
If it ain't Cristal boo, I guess it's Perignon
If the na-na's too tight, I throw some jelly on
Yo try to tax and watch the nine mill burst
I've been off the scene over three years
and cats is still thirst - to hear Big L drop an ill verse
So all you unsigned cats that want to battle;
get a deal first - I sport the bulletproof, fitted hat
That attitude - you better get rid of that
Wherever you floss is where you gon' get it at
What? I stay strapped, I go to sleep with my steel
Makin figures while you broke cats keepin it real
L is rap's most livest cat
I'm gettin stacks while you askin people,
"Do you want fries with that?"
I rob bags in the staircase, no mask, bare-faced
The one police wouldn't dare chase
Keep my gear laced - do I walk around without papes? No way pal
Wword up - my money longer than the OJ trial

why did he had to die :sadbron::sadbron:

Is there a petition that every member of the Coli could sign in order for Big L to obtain an episode on TVone's "Unsung"?

I love Kane but L deserves it more than Kane, Kane is already known and respected amongst lots of people. L is pretty much still underground status

If we can't get a Big L documentary then this would be the next best thing

:yeshrug:

someone look into that

Big L was getting no burn and trying to get on when he died, cam and mase made it big ... no one was checking for Big L and his basic rhyme scheme and boring punchlines.

Im just being honest, RIP tho .... but dude was boring on the mic, with an annoying voice and delivery. Thats why he was the oldest out the harlem cats with the least shine, just that DITC shyt.
