damn, yall live in the gym...5 days had me crazy, especially with how hard i was training

when i was with my trainer 5 days, 1.5 hrs on average, HIIT m-th, weights m-th lower - mon, chest/back - tues, arms/shoulders - wed, lower - thu, cardio/hiit & abs - sat

i'm taking a break now so I'm going 4-5 days, mostly cardio classes - spin (i forgot how fukkin on point spin makes my calves), kickboxing, insanity, 3 days lifting lower, upper, whole. i gained a lot of muscle with my trainer, so i'm just trying to maintain the muscle while losing fat

Anybody on here that was doing more than 5 days a week either burned out of plateaued. More than 5 days a week is excessive and the body needs rest.

I'll hit 5-6 days a week. Just switch up what I do on 2 of those days and speed it up and do lighter more rep work.

I feel like strength plateaus happen because of diet more than workout IMO.

I know by doing 2 days 1 day off each week I have way more energy to lift and run. But I lift and do 50 minutes of cardio 5 days a week :manny:
