I don't even remember the last time I seriously did some. I'll be lucky if I even reach 5 now. Never was good on pullups.

There's probably no other workout I see people do at the gym with worse form than pull-ups.

Everyone is different, but the way I increased my reps was I started doing weighted pullups, so doing pullups at bodyweight aren't anything for me.

But lat pull downs will def help you breh

I can only do 10-15 brehs :sadcam:

What kills me also was my pullup bar couldn't stay in the door. I used to pop 15 every morning then 50 pushups :mynegga:

If your goal is solely to increase your reps, the best method is to 'grease the groove'

Basically, just do short sets multiple times per day, every day. Like half of your max.

So if your current max is 10, do like 5-10 sets of 5 at various times throughout the day. If you have a pull up bar in your house, do a set of 5 every time you go to the bathroom or something like that.

It helps fortify the neurological pathways in your body and over time will make your musculature work more efficiently when doing the movement, which will make them easier.

20-25 (@ 185-190 lbs) reps straight. :mjcry:

I've gotten weaker on pullups lately :lupe: prob bc I didnt have my bar for 3 months

Not hating or anything, but that's not how you do a pull up. He's using his legs to pull himself up.

yesterday I had a killer pullup workout at my dad's house (I have no weights there but I brought my pullup bar)

did 50 total reps with 40lb weighted vest. Then did 50 total reps with no weight added. Whole upper body is sore today :noah:
