I just ordered the Birth Certificate.

I haven't had the time or opportunity to travel abroad until recently.

This reminds me. I have no idea where the fukk my birth certificate is.

Doesn't the passport application require the original birth certificate not a copy?

My driver's license expired.
My passport expired.
I can't find my original birth certificate.
All I have is my social security card and my college ID.

I was confused by that too. I thought they wanted 30 year old documents. But thats not the case.

But they mean that you cannot make a photocopy of your birth certificate. You can order an 'original' birth certificate from your city, state, or town. It has to have the raised seal on it. No photocopies.

Mine is good till the end of 2016. Haven't used it since I went to Singapore in 2006. Went for work so they paid for it
