How many of ya'll will come in here and admit you are a Democrat and show support for the party? I am one, who else?

I would say I'm liberal and I support the Democratic Party insofar as they're better than the Republican Party.
That doesn't mean I cosign everything they say and do.
Their incessant need to protect feelings and play identity politics makes me roll my eyes.
That said, we are at a point now where Democrats and Republicans are so ideologically opposed that no compromises can be made on anything. Neither side is seemingly willing to work together on anything because sticking together is valued above all.
I saw something recently that this current Congress has passed the fewest bills in American history.
NOTHING is getting done.
This simply cannot continue.

Allegiance to a political faction is idiotic.
Once you put that R or that D by your name, they know they've got you and they no longer need to work for your vote.

I agree, you will never align with every single thing a party does unless you create your own party. But I am a proud democrat because alot of their ideologies fall in line with what I believe in. I also know why my ancestors were Dems and it isn't because they were sheep. Interesting to see how many other Coli brehs will admit their party affiliation.
I support democrats in local and state elections. No way in hell I will ever support Republicans, I’m from alabama, and the republicans are basically white supremacists who may or may not wear the white robes

For state and federal elections I vote for whoever has the best chance of winning that isn't a republican. Just doing my part to keep republicans out of office.
The answer to this issue is more than a two party system, but bring it up on this site and you’ll have posters whining and bytching about it.
The current two party system in this country isn’t sustainable and hasn’t been for a long time.
