listen stupid, at this point they are not going anywhere with Melo and cannot upgrade the team enough to be a contender. You are paying max salaries to stay average. What's the point??

. stop discussing basketball...stick too listening to ESPNYou won't get far with Melo as your #1 . That's why knicks should have kept Lin and traded Melo. He is getting older, you have to pay him more money which won't get you anywhere as a franchise. Dolan got paper though, so he cool.

melo fanboy ?
you got a melo poster on top of your bed right?
What is the counter-argument to what I said about Melo??
The counter argument to what you said is that what you said is just stupid.
You think Jeremy Lin has a proven track record of being a good NBA player long enough to trade Melo for him.
Jeremy isn't even in the top 10 at his position.
Were you not even listening to what i said? I said would you rather pay luxury tax and stay mediocre or would you rather cut loose and look for another avenue?
You do realize that the Knicks are not going to get better right?
From what we saw of Lin last year, the team seemed more engaged with him being the catalyst for the offense. And they were winning!!
Melo is on a max deal, 28 years old and not the ideal player you would want as your #1 option.
With Melo traded for an expiring contract or a young player on the rise, the Knicks can get under cap and give itself a better chance at success in the future.
what's so hard to understand?
