Good bye Coli(2014-2020)
I remember vividly him bubbling, his tapes were insane. Reese, durk and them had one off bangers like Traffic (which Keef was on lol) but for a period errthing breh attached his name too went crazy. IDK if these dudes like 18 or some shyt but I watched it happen. Any cred Keef gets is warranted.

When anyone in NY make a Faneto holla at me :scust:
I'm from NY(tho not NYC but I go to work/school there) and I fukks with Brooklyn artists like Sheff G and Bam Bino but facts is those cats ain't reaching the level of Chief. Not that they suck but people have moved past drill especially the fact that the legendary Chi drill movement from 2011-2015 can not be topped not just from a musical standpoint but the "lore" around it. That's what makes drill... drill...

YES! He CARRIED that shyt. I was a lil nikka during that time bumping that shyt. I remember. WHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO in the drill scene during its prime was bigger than Chief bigger than this?

People forget "Love Sosa" was suppose to be in GTA 5. Again who carried the drill scene like Sosa? Not Lil Herb, not Lil Bibby, not Fredo Santana, not FBG Duck, not lil Mouse, not Young Pappy(RIP), etc, etc... If there was no Sosa there still would've been a drill scene but it would've took longer to gain attention.

I remember when L’A Capone said “It was me and bro, we was in the sto' and both of us got fifty cent cakes” and everybody was jacking him and putting that in their bio

I remember when Herb and Bibby dropped Kill shyt and that was the shyt when Lil Herb dropped Welcome to Fazoland mixtape and everyone was bumping that

When Reese came out. When Drake and Ross hopped on Us. The Supa Savage tape. When he had one of the hottest flows in the game.

I remember when Durk came out with L’z Anthem and Dis Ain’t What You Want. The whole Life Ain’t No Joke tape, when French had this nikka in the jects in Mott Haven with YG nikkas

The point is drill isn’t just Chief Keef my guy. Other nikkas made waves within that movement. Specifically for the city Durk and Herbo had heavy movements they was being fukked with heavy. Even nikkas like Billionaire Black was doing videos in the Bronx with a young ass A-Boogie and all that

The point is also that the style of drill music that the nikkas in Brooklyn are making specifically comes from DJ L’s sound and nikkas is more bar centric. It’s not like the shyt Keef and Young Chop were making. Give them their credit.

Its corny really, costs nothing to be honest.

You got NY Apologists trying to name people like Durk when even Durk himself will tell you how he got on...who he himself put L'A Capone on....:snoop:

None of those songs were bigger than "Don't Like" breh... L'A Capone especially. Lil Durk, Herb and Bibby only came on after. Then we have this song back in 2011. Which artists you listed made a song big like this?

Again you had suburban White boys saying "bang bang." And we all know drill was not just Keef but he literally carried that shyt. As for the bolded that shyt came after.

And what do you mean "bar centric"? Because 69 sounds like Rondonumbanine and Young Chop productions was not the only Chi drill sound. And many Chi artists like Young Pappy can spit.

The bars still elementary like old drill :pachaha:

Pop is my new optimal gym nikka and I swear this nikka has used the same line about Dior loke 7 times. Aint none of these dudes got bars breh. Its hype, flow, and a clever line err once in a while. My day one nikka said it best when I tried to put him on

"its a poor mans drill and as long as Keef alive Im scraight on em" :hubie:

The only point Im trying to make is give my dude his roses. You can even think the shyt now is better. Id rather listen to Tame Impala to the beatles. But without the beatlea movement it isnt any Tame Impala so give cred where cred is due

I dont know why folk say this. I dont know of any ny drill rapper that has more bars than pappy, g herbo, thf billa, fbg duck or rooga. 22gz and envy caine can spit though

Don't matter you talking about who was more popular talking about white boys and shyt lol. I'm talking about how their movements hit the city I was a teen back then too my guy. Everybody had they favorites it just wasn't Keef.

I'm telling you that the Axl sound comes directly from DJ L work

Therefore, they should get their credit it's a simple point that's flying over y'all heads because y'all want to annoint Chief Keef. Everyone knows what the fukk Keef did and how he was the first drill star.

I was talking about than Keef style. There's Chicago drillers that can spit and NY drillers that can spit.
