How long did it take you to start making beats you like?

I read this months later and realized a vital mistake I've been making when it comes to sampling sheer melodies. I would add a complete 4-bar loop into Fruity Slicer as opposed to making 4 separate Fruity Slicer files (1 bar for each Slicer).

Why would that be a mistake. U can adjust the slicer anyway u want and get the same chops either way.

only been at it for two months with Ableton but im really starting to like what im producing...i can see my own progress... i want my production to be heavily piano-based so until i get better with the keys and learn how to string together more intricate chord progressions then i wont be fully satisfied but im loving the learning process

Word? I feel like being faded helps me when I'm starting beats, as far as coming up with ideas. When it comes to cleaning up the beat I hate being high tho. It gets kind of tedious

Never made a beat on shrooms. I'll try it eventually. I know what you mean about lacking patience tho. My thing is off weed I just tend to become a perfectionist and overdo everything. And the usual stupid shyt, when I first got FL 12 I was playing around with it faded and it took me like 10 minutes to find Edison

you'll figure it out bruh just keep at it... i was the same way with Ableton till one day shyt just clicked. when I was testing out FL it wasnt that hard to figure out tho. try watching youtube tutorials.
