if he played 6 more years (which is crazy to even say, but i don't think impossible) he'd pass Vince for most seasons played and have a shot at passing Kareem for points all time, even if he starts to slow down on scoring.

We def going to see if all that $$$ is going to be a good roi....

im assuming he would either be the first (or one of the first few) to take that commitment for his health that seriously(modern day medicine).

Physically its one thing to continue playing. Another huge factor is what would he be going through mentally. Kobe himself said that as soon as he couldnt compete at the highest level the way he wanted to compete he'd leave. Didnt wanna hang around and just be a guy in the league. paraphrasing but i thinks thats what he was trying to convey.

It's really hard to say we just don't know when his body will break down since the advancements in tech and the way he takes care of his body is uncharted. I believe he makes it to 40 for sure. Maybe 42 or 43 years old.

If he eventually takes a Vince Carter role, dude may play till he’s 50. Although at this rate, I think he may stick around to give the all time assist record a run.
He's not declining at a Vince Carters rate. Vince was a role player for several years at that age already and didn't have the playoff wear and tear.

He already said he wants to play with or against his son. So that means he’ll be around for at least another three years.

i look at players like karl malone and moses malone (rip) who played almost 20 years. they didn't have the nutritionist and trainers like lebron does.

with lebron having healing powers damn near like wolverine i can see him playing another 4-5 years as a top 5 player in the league. i think he retires around that time frame especially if the teams aren't competing for a title.

Father Time is undefeated. It’s not just the seasons played, you have to include the deep playoff runs. The way this season shook out, everything worked perfectly for an old player trying to turn up for a playoff run.

And he avoided seeing any serious comp at his position

So... 2 more seasons as a dominant starter and then we’ll see how much he wants to play a reduced role.

Or maybe they’ll stay in the bubble and he plays til he’s 50.

At this level I'd say at least 2-3 more years, unless some injury hits him hard. Overall probably 5-7 more years, depending on what level he wants to retire at.

Probably like 100 more years.
But his model is older than KL's.
