Hell no. I'm a Bron stan and I cant tolerate the Skip Bayless levels of criticism for another 6 or 7 years.

Threads or TV shows talking about "Does LeBron not scoring the same amount as Jordan at 40 prove who is the GOAT" :why:

End this shyt in 3 or 4 years Bron.

I agree...if possible get 2 chips with LA and dip

Enough of these companies and personalities have gotten paid from being in the slander Lebron James business

Let them go find scraps to eat off somebody else

A friend of mine (not a LBJ stan) halfway seriously suggested that LeBron would be elected to the Hall of Fame in 2033...which would mean he had played until he was 45.

Now AD just said he wants to go to 9 more Finals with Bron (obviously hyperbole).

There's no way LeBron will play 27 seasons of basketball. But....could he?

Jokic is unathletic as fukk, never leaves his feet or runs with any speed, and is a star player. LeBron is a few inches shorter, but otherwise is there anything that Jokic can do right now that LeBron won't still be able to do 10 years from now? What would keep him from putting up 18-8-8 as a vet presence and 2nd/3rd option on a title team?

I'm thinking about 1991 Magic who basically didn't challenge shots but was still the best player on a Finals favorite....2011 Jason Kidd who was still able to do a little bit of everything at 38yo without having nearly LeBron's size....2014 Duncan who had one leg but led his team to a ring...at what age is LeBron's skill set actually going to drop below those guys?

This team if AD doesn't get injured, someone like Zach LaVine signs with them in a year, LBJ eventually takes a salary cut so more talent can keep coming in....

He'll retire after Bryce Maximus James rookie season.

The day Lebron retires, we finna see an absolute collapse of thecoli:mjlol:

They been so busy working overtime to tear down and hate on him they they really havent properly prepared for the next guy to hate on thats finna carry them to the next decade:russ:

Thats why I pray so Hard that HARDEN keeps getting them numbers up to catch Kobe to see what the fukk in gonna happen:mjlol:

Nicca worried about a fukking Small Forward while many Shooting Guards racing to be the next best one behind MJ:bryan:

Exactly. Cats nowadays are playing till their early 40's when years ago that would have never happened. With all around maintenance of your body and watching what you eat i can see how too? As much as we think 35 is super old in sports it's not anymore.

I'm not sure that's true. While maintainance of the body has improved considerably, wear and tear on the body has always increased a ton. Players put far more force on their joints and tendons/ligaments than ever before, with the modern moves, heavier size, and stronger muscle development.

Stockton played until 41
Cousy played until 41
Kareem played until 41.
Parish played until 43.
Dikembe played until 42.
Malone played until 40.
Duncan played until 40.

So in all eras there were players who managed to play into their early 40s. The difference is that no one had the combination of size, bball IQ, and skill set that LeBron has.

I feel that the only thing that will stop LBJ will be boredom or major injury. If he doesn't have a major injury, then even at 44-45 he'll still be great value Jokic, giving you 20-8-8 if you let him though you need to cover for him on defense.

the evolution of the game is the best thing for him as hes gets older. hes already a walking mismatch and you couple that with the spacing. then with the erosion of the pf position now hes much more likely to find himself bigger than 4 out of 5 opponents on the floor and sometimes all of them which is different than he would have seen earlier in his career. it makes him damn hard to stop.

that size advantage likely wont change, hes always going to be an elite passer, and as long as he can shoot anywhere near as good as he can now he'll continue to be able to hunt mismatches or have defenses scrambling.

Other than Kareem and maybe Malone all had lost a major step well before they were 40 though while Bron showing very little drop off at the moment. And like you said i feel he will always be effective cause as he ages he can just play from the post more and rack up assists and rebounds.
