Alot of execs have no idea how to innovate at these companies. They are just highly paid managers of an already rolling machine. Once things changed and the internet and amazon became a thing, they didn't know how to adapt. Even with decades of infrastructure already in place.

I mean... there is nothing to adapt too......... it's like having a knife in a gun fight...... they were severely mismanaged during the 90s more than anything

The last time I seen a Kmart was 1994 or 1995. So many stores that were around in adolescence and teenage years are gone.

Kmart, Toys R Us, Circuit City, Warehouse Music, Foley's, Tower Records, KB Toys, Funcoland, Montgomery Ward, Sears, etc.

Sounds like Kmart is done. Sears holding on by a thread. Sears is actually still holding on in small towns with smaller stores called Sears hometown.

Its weird theres still one K-Mart in NJ about 20 mins from me. Its still set up the same way it was when it was Caldors in the 80s and honestly I like to in buy stuff just for shyts and giggles every so often but yea the store is a relic.

When they were by my house still about 4 years back before closing they did so I believe so.
