How important is cardio?

In the grand scheme of things..

I been thinking about gettin back in the gym during these winter months...but I'm so outta shape that I'm really tryna duck that whole cardio scene :scusthov:

All I'm really tryna do is put a little bit of weight on and then sculpt it. Is it possible to throw cardio in the bushes and still achieve this? Or is cardio as vital as diet?

çardio is good but dont do too much if you're trying to gain weight. if you wanna lose fat do itttt

The older you get the more important it is. For overall health and keeping your weight in check that is.

You don't necessarily need it if you're already lean and you eat clean and lift or sprint, things with a lot of intensity. Most people aren't like that though, so yeah get that cardio in.

i've gained so much weight since quitting smoking this summer and i've changed my birth control up so i'm super :flabbynsick: even though i eat clean, and do yoga 5-7 times a week....i just went to my doc and talked to him about it and he said CARDIO IS A MUST...in order for me to cut the chunk...i can't avoid getting my heartrate up and sweating it out...i assume this is the same for everyone...do it for your health bruh!!

SO how much cardio is good for you? I run 3 miles three times per week.

Its definitely better to do intermittent/interval cardio than long endurance sessions. You gain more benefits by doing 20 - 30 min sessions of 2 mins high intensity/1 min low intensity intervals than 30 min jogging session.

Whats the point of muscle if you have no endurance.

Cardio is very important in building lean muscle! What you eat is 90% of building ur dream body.

3 times a week 15 minutes h.i.i.t cardio (1 minute spring, 1 minute walk pattern for 15 minutes)
15 minutes steady state (4.5 on treadill or medium pace on bike or elliptical)

30 minutes total plus a good diet finding out your right macros plus a good strength training regimen you'll be good
