A serial killer in a fantasy football league who starts taking out NFL players weekly from the opposing teams until an FBI agent figures out the pattern?

:gladbron:

Sounds like a Netflix movie I'll watch

Definitely a Prime Video movie. Call up Chad Ochocinco and :to: for cameos.

“Looks like someone is resting their starters...

In peace.”

First of all....

...and yeah, I'm definitely going to need this movie to exist. If Spice Adams and O.J. are on board, it's a wrap.

in this case, you’re actually looking for someone who’s team has faced those specific players each week they were killed. FBI gets access to Yahoo’s FF database and starts crunching the numbers. Maybe they find 100 people who had the exact pattern of opponents, and they start ruling people out (could be a whole part of the movie where they are breaking down doors, interrogating suspects) until they are down to a couple of suspects and then the climax.

Have a twist at the end where the FBI is celebrating catching the killer and one guy comes in with some news...

“Agent Jones. I still had access to those Yahoo FF statistics, and out of curiosity decided to run the numbers for one more pattern......”

Then he tells him they found one person that had dropped each of the murdered players right before they played.

:ooh:

Sequel!

I'm thinking someone like a Larry Johnson.

The detectives have to piece together his tweets in order to find the bodies and connect the dots.

@Mr Hate Coffee Thoughts? :jbhmm:

Everything I wanted to say has been said. I immediately thought OJ.

Plot twist could be that the killer has an accomplice.

Tbh, the premise would work better if the person injured the players instead of killing them. Murders would bring too much heat.

But it would take awhile to catch onto someone taking out players’ knees, setting up non fatal car crashes, setting up domestic violence charges, etc. :banderas:

It would be hard to find the killer. Think about how many ff teams there are, then you'd have to find every ff player that has those players on their team, then you'd have to throw back in folks who traded for them, then you'd have to rule out typical nfl player debauchery and fukkery.

That might be the most uncatchable crime spree ever :ohhh:
How the hell you gon solve that :patrice:
I mean you just typed the exact opposite of it being uncatchable. In a 30 second post you literally just broke down the steps on how to possibly trace him. Now imagine multiple government agencies with millions of dollars in resources and nothing but time on their hands. Not to mention wherever he's taking them out likely has cameras.
