in this case, you’re actually looking for someone who’s team has faced those specific players each week they were killed. FBI gets access to Yahoo’s FF database and starts crunching the numbers. Maybe they find 100 people who had the exact pattern of opponents, and they start ruling people out (could be a whole part of the movie where they are breaking down doors, interrogating suspects) until they are down to a couple of suspects and then the climax.

Have a twist at the end where the FBI is celebrating catching the killer and one guy comes in with some news...

“Agent Jones. I still had access to those Yahoo FF statistics, and out of curiosity decided to run the numbers for one more pattern......”

Then he tells him they found one person that had dropped each of the murdered players right before they played.

:ooh:

Sequel!

:dead: @ the FBI only checking Yahoo

:dead: @ the killer getting away with it because they play fantasy football on ESPN

I actually thought of another Tony Scott film, The Fan

Anybody remember The Fan with Deniro and Wesley. This shyt was out there :russ: Not exactly like the op described but obsessed fan culture is one of the things that drives the film

Surprised it wasn't mentioned sooner. As soon as I read the first post I immediately thought about this movie.

This is not a movie. It's an episode of CSI: Miami.

“Looks like someone is resting their starters...

In peace.”

WITH CTE mad over getting cut and using FF to keep himself afloat. Lost out on a huge payday by some of his players shytting the bed :shaq:

I'm thinking someone like a Larry Johnson.

The detectives have to piece together his tweets in order to find the bodies and connect the dots.
