Used it to help me interview prep for BI job I just got recently. Used it during interviews as well.

Use to help me correct my scripts/queries for SQL cert/project I'm wrapping up.

Used it to write reviews on Amazon.

Wrote a paper for my girl (and let her take a knife to it to rework it how she wanted).

I'll take stuff from mfs at work who overly complex for no reason at all or they in circles and tell it to put it in brehmans terms.

And other little ancillary things. shyt is fun to use for the most part, especially when you give it the context it needs.

I try to set aside one hour everyday to spend using it for work and entrepreneurial stuff.

Currently getting a ton of use out of Bard doing marketing stuff. The ability to scrape data with a reference source from LinkedIn is major.

I'm starting grad school, do you guys think ChatGPT can be used to do research for my essays from scholarly sources? Can it highlight key findings and even write the sources in APA format? Is there a better software specifically for researchers?

Not well. But the research should be the easiest/most fun part of the work.

You should know how to put something in APA format from memory - don't put those necessary aspects of your education up to machine learning and AI programs.

Use Scrivener to save all sources when you come across them, use ChatGPT to help create a framework for an essay, or to give you introductions/transition sentences if you're having brainfog or are hitting a hump in your writing.

Does anyone have an AI suggestion for transcribing videos on my hard drive? I got a bunch of hour long videos that need transcribing, and im trying to find a way to automate this.

you can use something like whisper v3 locally if you have the hardware to run it or you can use a online service. if you choose to use a online service i suggest you extract the audio from the video to save time uploading multiple files with unnecessary data.

{i think the demo has an hour limit and it isn't timestamped}
