Well, then we gotta agree to disagree.

Schools are essentially daycares, if other metrics aren't taken in to consideration.

Obviously your ok with a daycare.

i have no idea what you are trying to say, is there suppose to be some kind of negative connotation to the word daycare?

the reason why a lot charter schools succeed is because they do a lot more than teach and for black children that come from broken homes its important that schools have the flexibility to operate like daycares and after school programs if necessary, how a particular school deals with its issues should be left up to the school itself

but overall i have no opinion on whether a school should be run like a daycare, i have an opinion that schools should be run independently and not be burdened by a micro managing school board

i dont see what your point is, there is nothing wrong with home school if that is the parent's choice, the girl that graduated from college before she graduated from high school was home schooled, and its something people should consider if they do not think the public school is good enough

my overall point is that we need maximum school choice, that means charters schools, vouchers, home schooling and even public schools if they are performing well, and if you dont like your choices then get together with somebody and open up your own school

there should be a plethora of choices, its amazing how many people defend the public school system, to the point where you have to downplay daily violence against black children and when the public school system has destroyed and oppressed millions of black minds, the public school system should be destroyed and rebuilt around independent charters schools and vouchers

Do you wish you had gone to a charter school?

Essentially, what I am getting from you is...public schools bad, charter schools good...fukk public schools.

In my experience, there is not much difference outside of the one point I illustrated. While important, as a parent, you need to demand more than that from a school. Parents don't...children suffer.

yeah basically i think the public school system should be destroyed

and you have already admitted that in drawing your conclusion you dont take daily violence against black children into account, so pardon me for not taking your analysis seriously

i agree that the parent should demand more and i also think the parent should have as many choices as possible, not just a public school in the block

No, you drew that conclusion.

I can make the assumption, you want no involvement in your child(ren)'s academic experience.

See how easy that is.

No, you drew that conclusion.

what other conclusion could i come to, you said the education was the same between the charter school and public school except that in the public school black children were physically assaulted on a daily basis, apparently violence against black children is a minor issue to you in evaluating education quality

Dogg...I ain't gonna argue semantics with you. I said it was "the biggest" change...I've been to public schools that were not violent at all...if that's downplaying so be it...dismiss my argument, because obviously we aren't even having a discussion from the frame of reference.

There is not much difference I see from an agenda or cirriculum standpoint. If you still want your kids learning multiplication tables in the 12th grade, by all means do so. Because that's what some of the kids I graduated with were doing...

I'm not putting words in your mouth, you downplay the physical assault of black children like a Nigerian government official

And yeah if the curriculum is exactly the same then obviously a charter school were black children aren't being physically assaulted in a daily basis is a million times better, it's mind boggling that you don't realize this
