Yeah I haven't seen it in forever. They left went and burned down the building some kid got raped or killed in right?

Yeah. The preacher dude was talking about it then mentions it to Rabbit and says someone says something along the lines of "If it was on the other side, that would've got burnt down by now" or some shyt

I stopped taking it serious when Marshall was just bombing on cats like he was Lionheart or some shyt. Battle scenes and soundtrack were best parts of the film.

This is how he actually blew up. We tend to take everything we see on tv and in the movies as fact. Just as history influence and shape minds and sound and visual and imagine the impression that leaves:martin:

It's the reason why most who never physically saw the real malcom x at times if you mention his name will initially think of the iconic move starring Denzel Washington

Or if you don't know Ray charles you will initially think of Jamie fox and his portrayal

Even older charlton Heston in Ten Commandments I don't subscribe to any of that b.s.
But many first impressions and thoughts are of him as Moses and those things took place

The machine behind em that pushed him to the forefront this movie iconic producer Dr. Dre street Cred with a guy who got shot "9" times 50 it took a lot to solidify and get him accepted into some black people's homes and playlist rotations
But not mine:sas1:
You really just say Eminem didn't blow up till 2002?

I mean...it is a Hip Hop movie...

I didn't not like the movie when I saw it.

The battle raps were entertaining enough.

But for some reason I don't think we care about it.

Paid in Full is somehow more beloved in the community.
fukk you mean "somehow"? Paid In Full is a legitimate classic, 8 Mile was just a way for Eminem to prop himself up as more than he really was before he became a mainstream rapper.
