is this ish still the masterpiece the media said it was. everything the media said was dumb for a simple fact, a piece of art can only be judged after time passes. these initial notices are kinda dumb given the album was getting perfect scores from black media like XXL and The Source to cac outlets like Pitchfork and RollingStone

if you want to know what songs on there i think are truly great 2 years out and i think i can listen to forever:

Dark Fantasy

just the first track. its still a good album. but is this sh!t really life changing?

As far as new rappers.. Kanye's whole catalog Has replay value. His catalog will withstand time and be able to be played 20 years from now. You hear about all these old catalogs out performing new releases. He will be one of these acts. His greatest hits are shaping up to be nice. Better than a lot of your favorite rappers.

The Chi (South Side)
Was running in the park with my iPhone on random and "so appalled" came in. I must have played that joint a good six times in a row like when it first dropped on good Friday.

Still absolute garbage on par with the South Park Kanye dolphin song.

And I'm not trolling either. I still feel like the world is trolling everyone that thinks it is garbage by claiming there is anything even remotely redeemable about this album. Sh*t is truly Kanye's Encore minus the few good songs that were on Encore..

Lyrics are just :why:

Production is trying way too hard to sound groundbreaking while it's just all over the place.

Lost in the world might just be the best song on this genre-defining classic.
