If you have time to watch sports, movies, Netflix, Hulu, prime TV, etc, then you have time to play video games. This thread is such a bullshyt excuse to hate video games like some hoe jealous bytches who hate the guy who loves to play video games.
The fukk are you talking about? Some of yall are just miserable. Nobody is in here hating on video games. Everybody in this subforum likes to play video games. Not everybody has time to watch TV, sports, or movies either. If you pay attention to answers in here you'll notice a lot of brehs get their TV and movie watching done with their spouses and children. Plus watching TV is a passive activity that you can multi task while doing it. You cannot clean your living and play Elden Ring at the same time breh it's either one or the other.

I copped the PS5 in Nov 2023 for my son who was 2 at the time he will be 4 in a few weeks so it's really for him...

The Spiderman hours are my son I don't really play it....he does pretty good for a lil guy on the easiest mode...he will jump around for 20 mins and then it's off to the next toy

I copped Hitman 3 a few months ago and I have actually been playing it based on the stats

Already sold the baseball game back shyt was trash 😭

Just waiting on GTA and then after that I'm probably done forever

Whole house is asleep right now and I could be playing but I just turned it on to snap the pic

1000% all this. Not being able to find time to do the things that you enjoy in life is not an adulting problem, but a matter of priority preference. I don't give a fukk how faux busy you are, what job you have or the amount or type of family you got either.

I've always found time to get at a bare minimum an hour or two of gaming a day, nearly any day of the week and I've had every imaginable adult circumstance that one can go through, most of the time simultaneously. Multiple kids, wife, various other live-in family members, consecutive years of dual job wielding, other hobbies, workout regimens, years of college/trade schools.

What also boggles my mind is how many of y'all act like y'all couldn't dare play a game while another family members is in the house and actually conscious. Are y'all embarrassed or something?! How co-dependent are y'alls families? I get distractions and certain situations can be challenging at times, but all should be able to be managed, if you really want it. Recreational time is important for everyone.

Exactly.

Are books, movies, TV, and other forms of entertainment worthless wastes of time? Sure, if you’re a drone in a termite mound. (Back to work, slacker!) No, if you’re a human being. There are people in the world who think human societies should look more like insect colonies. I will never understand those people

I'm all for doing whatever you want in your free time. It's your free time you should choose how you spend it free of any stigma, but I know when ever I get tired of playing video games, I generally switch to something more nature-focused. I like to spend my time either gardening or reading in nature if I'm not playing video games. Picking up a creative hobby or learning a new language is also a good alternative.

All that being said, I don't agree with the negative stigmas surrounding video games. The same people who spend all their time sitting in front a TV screen or looking at their phone, social mediass, are the ones saying “ugh, video games are terrible.” Video games are an active hobby, they require skill, intelligence, and focus. Even more casual games require some sort of forward thought and planning. Want to call something a waste of time? I even participate in other hobbies while playing video games like I go to the gym.

past 2 years i've been hybrid and a lot of days I've opted to stay home cause I have a better work setup at home

some of my married homies don't follow game trends but they all have ps5s/switches since smash bros and FIFA will always be a thing lol

I couldn't see myself NOT gaming while in a relationship though. Women take forever to get ready to go out and that's my sweet spot to either smoke or play space marine :manny:
