How do you guys find time to play video games consistently?

Even if you only played 5 hours a week that means you can complete like 5 of these types of games a year so I'm not seeing what the correlation is here.

The types of games is the big thing. You can't be really play these MMOs's like you could when you were young. Or be a completionist for a list of RPG's.

But there are a ton of Single Player games that aim at 20–50 hours at most that you can play a bit by bit when you got time.

Hell lets say you can only play on the weekends, but you can get 8 hours just on Saturday and Sunday together. You can still play a good decent amount of games.

When thing to take clear, you should have room for you hobbies. Games, Shows, Movies or books. If you really want to play games, you can make some time, but obviously juggling the hobbies is the main thing.

I work from home so I got plenty of time even though I got 2 jobs and am in school for my Master’s. Got plenty of time for my girl too.

I have to sacrifice time from either the gym, my social life or other hobbies if I want to game. This is why I "rush" through games and get them out the way.

For those that have families, another thing to easier get in gaming sessions is to play games that also interest them. Even moreso if it interests the woman in ya'll lives, since they're typically the ones that may have some gripes about it (if they have too much gripes about it, that should get checked, between either her or you, depending on who's more unreasonable about it). My wife always loved watching narrative based games and while she doesn't watch nearly as much as she used to, she's super into Cyberpunk and is almost always wanting to watch me play that a few times a week, for hours on end. It's basically a quality time and hobby time cheat code.
