Probably one of the best physical comedy actors ever. I remember one time Chris Rock said that Martin will have you laughing for a solid 10 minutes w/o saying a word. Martin's physical comedy is that good

i watched A Thin Line for the first time as an adult recently...hadnt seen it since i was much younger and unable to really grasp what the movie was about...My friends and I had a discussion myself personally I don’t think Martin really has a lot of range to do more serious roles and I think he should stick to what he knows in comedic movies.
Whether you like A Thin Line between love and Hate or not I’m not judging if you do I personally don’t think the movie that good because that type of role doesn’t fit Martin. I think they should have went with one of three guys: Will, Jamie, or Larenz Tate.
Exactly why i can’t take him serious in that role he could have easily been the character bobby brown wasi watched A Thin Line for the first time as an adult recently...hadnt seen it since i was much younger and unable to really grasp what the movie was about...
one thing i noticed immediately was his antagonist was playing her role 100% to the mark...she was acting as if she was classically trained and was flipping her emotions at the drop of a dime...she really killed it in that role...but at the same time she's giving her all to this character, you got Martin hamming it up making goofy ass faces..it almost feels like they are in 2 separate movies at the same time.
