shyt that don't make em look like a weirdo or bytch. :ld:

Call me crazy, but we used to clown nikkaz for rockin shyt like this. So it'll never be acceptable for me to rock personally. That's like listening to Drake when you was raised on Project Pat.
that's some bullshyt honestly. i was raised heavily on 50 cent and wu-tang but i fukk with partynextdoor. switching it up ain't nothing bad cuz, gotta learn how to be versatile

I beg to differ.

I just like my Hip Hop to be Hip Hop and not some mutilated form of europop trash. Plus I listen to a lot of different music outside of rap so I think I'm more than versatile enough. If I'm not in the mood for rap I'll listen to some Fela or something. People have overemphasized this idea of open-mindedness and acceptance and it's allowed for the more traditional elements of the culture that raised us to be fully corrupted and in some cases completely discarded. It's like it ain't worth shyt unless it's got some fukkboy type influence to it. I'll never budge from that position, I keep my gear and my music simple. Most of the people at my job are my opposite, but it makes for funnier discussions cuz we can clown each other.

The thing I notice most is that when someone pulls this card and puts it on the table all the ones that complicit get to talkin bout "3XL shirts this" and "super baggy jeans" that when you can just look masculine without looking outrageous like that. Tolerance is one thing, but I don't have to accept anything I consider to be fukk shyt.

The 2010's is the GOAT fashion decade. fukk what a nikka think. Style has actually come back. nikkas ain't on that buying the fit off the mannaquin like they was back in the 90's and 2000's. shyt was bama. nikkas with no style who had money could just walk in the store and cop whatever they say in the window and be fresh. Now you gotta actually put shyt together, and that shows who has style and who doesnt. And with the Internet there really isn't a set lane now. nikkas is doing everything from the 20's to the 90's. Whatever your flavor is you can find that lane and hop in it one day and switch it up the next

different strokes for different folks i have 15,000+ songs in my music library ranging from 3-6 mafia to soulection to certain folk artist :yeshrug:

wouldn't necessarily call this newage toronto rap/rnb europop trash because they've already defined the type/subgenre of music they are trying to make, the problem is here is that nobody tries to go out of there way to listen to someone new, if i try and put my boys onto a dope rapper like joyner lucas the first that they gone say is that who is this nobody or why you listening to a random mixtape rapper. the consumers allowed this fukkboy shyt to happen without opening the doors for people who really about this rap shyt

I swear I don't hear those words like hipster outside of the internet. Black people b eeeen wearing BRIGHT COLORS, African prints, and stylish clothes. All black countries dress like that.

Looking at 90 ' s shows and movies Cole and Pam from Martin, Ron from a different world, will smith wore african prints and bright colors in fresh prince of belair.

I read shyt like this on the internet and think wthhhhhefukk black people are really trying to box ourselves it.
I dress like the guys above and I listen to trap music and fukk hoes. Nikkus at my HBCU dress like this and are from the hood. Nikkas need to get off tumblr

FACTS...we always box ourselves out in shyt that we start (rock n roll, jazz, now r&b and hip hop)......then wonder why the mentioned music genres are not like the good ole days

Most of those outfits wouldn't look bad if the pants weren't so tight and rolled up like capri's.

Being 37 I know a lot of dudes in the 35 - 47 range and a lot of them will never let go of the baggy jeans 90's era. I've accepted the death of the baggy jeans but tight ass skinny jeans is talking it to the extreme. Straight leg with a slight sag (no under wear showing :scusthov:) is where I draw the line.

Baggy shyt is coming back tho. Probably not as ridiculous as that 90's shyt but designers already are adding boot cuts and flare cuts to their denim lines. Everything comes full circle. Especially in this decade where anything goes. Just like how kids are starting to get jacked again for Hilfiger coats like it's 97 all over and dudes are starting to rock shyt like baseball jerseys and track suits again also. In 2-3 years you'll still have folks rocking skinny but you'll also have folks rocking baggier cuts of denim

Timbs, Jays, sneakers i.e any non-dressy shoes, somewhat baggy to baggy jeans, crew-neck t-shirts, polo shirts, hoodies, jackets, for example. I personally find it sad that so many Black men limit their modes of dress to the aforementioned and those who dare to go beyond the usual get a label i.e hipster, :mjpls: or similar. Not saying one has to go to the extreme with the colors, etc., but there are many Black men who don't own a dress shirt, a suit, or a pair of dress shoes.

I rarely see black people rocking baggy clothes anymore. Everyone seems to wearing they shyt slim/skinny.

i feel like if you go to the Deep South you would still find heads dressed like this :pachaha:

Not everywhere in the south. There are more than a few nikkas in ATL and Miami who can dress. shyt I think nikkas in my city fukking with any cat from a town that's not NY, LA or DC when it comes to clothes . Just because you from up north don't mean you can dress. Plenty of cities up there like Philly and Chicago that haven't impressed me when it comes to style and I'm from the deep south:yeshrug:

Its ridiculous as hell. How we gon create styles and then when everybody else starts trying to wear them we let them tell us what to keep wearing while they make it popular again:wtf:

I dunno about the number of songs but I'm sure between iTunes and Spotify I got a month and a half worth of music.

I actually do give people a chance. Hell, I wouldn't of got on to a lot of rappers I fukk with today if I wasn't like that. But I'm a pretty harsh critic and I have a set idea of what I like in my Hip Hop sound. The same can be said about the gear I rock. I definitely let nikkaz do they thing, you can't judge somebody by what they wear or listen to but it's just not some shyt I can personally rock with because I think it looks or sounds funny.
