I still haven't listened to that album.

Just hearing the songs on the radio was enough for me to know it wasn't my style of Rap music.

almost sounds underrated here. Lyrically, Lauren was destroying shyt. Zealots, How Many Mics, Ready or Not. I was already a fan when the Score came out. That just reaffirmed. Don't understand what was corny about the album. Because it was different? Strong messages on there, good music and production. Sounds like its getting shyted on because it transcended Hip-Hop.

Shyt like this is just pure Hip-Hop

L shyts on like 98% of these MCs outchea

It was the first hip hop album i owned as a kid and i loved it to the point it turned into an obsession and i'd refused to listen to anything else :mjlol:
I haven't heard it in ages though, so i think imma bump it sometime today/tomorrow to see if i can reignite my crippling ocd :jawalrus:

I know it'll still be dope.

Classic. Played it so much I don't play it anymore. I think I have it memorized.

Awk don't talk a lot if you can't hold it in lock
If you think lips sink ships , imagine full gloc clips.

:usure:

Cacs actin like they weren't in kindergarten when it dropped. :russ:

It was for real CLASSIC albums. Such as
The chronic
Doggy style
Death certificate
Regulate g-funk era
All eyez on me
Life after death
Tru 2 da game
Thug life

I could name many many many more.
Some of these albums didn't even remotely sell as many records as then and yet have more famous album cuts/ unofficial singles
and i can name classic albums that people had to look back on years later before realizing it was classic. you wasn't getting 5 mics off 3 singles back then, stop.

what are some look back classics?
And I DID say THE SCORE was a Classic. Off impact alone
Every song on the score was enjoyable. Not every song was a single. Comparing it to other classics is a different conversation but it is Def a classic album. No weak tracks. Just played out.
