Yep. I wound up using this list to watch the best DS9 episodes show tends to drag outside of Furengi and Garak centered episodes.. I'm up to the Defiant episode in season 3

Smart. I loved DS9 but it definitely suffered from all the filler. I watched it religiously but then got burnt out by the 5th season and didn't return to it up until a couple of months later.
Funny enough I started watching the original Star Trek late last year and I've done the same thing ... taken a break from it, while coming back to it from time to time. But that's been more due to me being busy with work and a lot of significant lifestyle changes that have made leisure tv show watching rare. I guess with how most episodes in a typical Star Trek show are one-offs, it is tough for me to muster up the interest anyways when there's other more interesting shows to watch.
But Star Trek TOS is gangsta though. All the chicks wear short skirts

and just finished watching "The Ultimate Computer" where Richard Daystrom (really smart scientist and black guy
) builds a computer that can out-wit and replace Kirk.
