How do people binge watch a show?

If you work remotely you can binge watch all types of stuff.
I went through the first 3 seasons of Person of Interest in a week and a half that way.

I work in a hospital got kodi on my tablet so I stream at lunch

For the last 10 years I've either worked from home or lived within 5 minutes from my job. The first show I ever binged was Smallville. Knocked out 4 seasons in about a 9 days. I'd wake up and watch one in the morning. Come home for lunch and watch another episode and then another 3 or 4 at night after getting off work. Then on those weekends I'd watch all day until I got ready to go out. Since then I can only binge shows that really catch my attention. Took me forever on Breaking Bad and Mad Men to get into them hardcore but once I did it was a wrap. All plans were on hold until I finished.

There's no way a non unemployed person is binge watching 6 season of a tv show in a week. Anytime someone tells me that they binge watch a season I automatically assume they're unemployed.

??? i've watched a shyt ton of shows while working. there aren't a lot of shows i watch during the week, so when i'm home after work, it's easy to spend from 7/8pm-12am watching episodes of old shows/shows i want to see. then if you aint doing shyt on a weekend, that's easily another 8-14/hrs per day to go thru a show. this is harder if you have kids or whatnot, but for every other average adult (not the coli where people club 4-5 nights a week and have 7-8 pawgs per night rollin thru) it's not hard. i definitely wouldn't equate binge watching a show to being unemployed, but i will equate it to actively choosing to not have a social life while you put in that work

i know when i was watching GOT seasons 1-3, i used my lunch time to watch an episode during the day.

edit: 6 seasons in a week well no shyt, most employed (non unemployed...wtf) people aren't, but over the course of 2-3 weeks, yea

You can watch 6-9 episodes in a weekend. Seasons tend to range between 10-13 episodes. That's why Netflix for instance releases their shows on a Friday.

I believe 6 seasons is sufficient enough credibility for a show to be worth my time.
