Complexion

Once upon a time, two monks were traveling a long distance together. Somewhere along their journey, they came upon a river with rapid, choppy waters and they saw a woman standing by its margins, unable to cross by herself.
Despite the sacred vow the monks had taken (not to ever touch women), one of the monks picked the woman up and carried her across the agitated waters, setting her down safely across the river. The other monk rejoins them across the river and is shocked and outraged that his traveling companion had broken the sacred vow but stayed silent about it.
A few hours pass as the two monks travel on. The monk who kept silent is, by now, quite agitated and finally interjects: “Why did you carry that women when we took a vow as monks not to touch women?”
The monk, his companion, replies, “I set the woman down hours ago by the river. Why are you still carrying her?”
All in your mind, every time. To carry thoughts like this are dead weight, not in your best interests as you reactivate the Pattern by giving it your attention and thus a space in your energetics. Next time it happens imagine the thoughts as a black smoke, breathe it out, give it form, let it go. Yell and scream a little bit. Vent. Free yourself of the pinball memory bouncing around in your head.
Thoughts are things and words are weapons for those who are strangers to knowledge of Self:
as they know not they are the one watching the motion picture in their head they not only direct but star in as well as edit.
