No there's a basic rule here. Jesus saves. The ten commandments show you if you are affected by paganism in this world. If you have broken any of them you are a victim of it. Everybody has. That's why you need a Saviour.
But when you know better you don't have an excuse. You are taking the Lord's grace for granted. How can you say you love GOD but don't do what HEsays. That for everybody, me at the same time.

I am just saying that if you are a witness to his resurrection then you know that there is more happening
within the OT/Gospels than outside of it.
This reinforces my belief that the food loops are worth considering(currently fasting for Lent and doing poorly at it
). On the Orthodox side, every holiday/festival has a gospel backing behind it as tribute to God and his saints if its of interest to you.

Paganism only controls those who are attracted to its
ways (Edom, Amalek etc) if you consider the function of paganism it is easy to avoid and thats substitutional beliefs on sin (sacrificing bulls and heifers to Zeus/Hera etc) as well as the belief that God is against you as an adversary....remember Jesus died
and was resurrected.
