You typing paragraphs🤣 go get active kid!

That completely explains why you don't realize atheists built the world you live in-- you think 4 sentences is "typing paragraphs".

Take your monkey ass to twitter if you need it in 240 or less nikka, this is a message board.

(Hint: that means there are going to be messages)

You haven't posted anything prohibiting them from doing so. Heck, that's how Purim (and other holidays) came to be....

Did Yeshua (Jesus) celebrate Purim? It is written in John chapter 5 that He was in Jerusalem for an unnamed feast, but scholars have questioned which feast this was. Some have rejected the idea that this was Purim because it is considered a "minor" feast and not one of the shelosh regalim (three pilgrimage festivals). However, we know that Jesus celebrated Chanukah (John 10:22) which is also another "minor" feast, so a priori that is not a worthy objection. According to Lambert Dolphin's research on this question, chronologically the only feast that John could be referring to is Purim, since it is said to have fallen on Shabbat (John 5:9), but the only feast that occurred on Shabbat between the years of 25-35 CE was in fact Purim (in the year 28 CE). But why was it referred to as an unnamed feast? Perhaps the Spirit of God intentionally left out the name of the feast because the Name of the LORD was likewise deliberately left out of the Book of Esther.

The Wrong Side of the Tracks

Some holidays are more overtly compatible with Christianity than others. Christmas and Easter, of course, are Christian celebrations of Jesus’ birth and resurrection. Thanksgiving Day promotes the biblical ideal of gratefulness. Such holidays give Christians plenty of reason to celebrate.

Jesus is 'Lord', therefore, 'His' name wasn't left out of Christmas and the whole purpose is to give 'praise' to him.

:mjlol: This post is almost alarmingly stupid, and you so strong with it too. Most of modern science is based on the work of enlightenment era christian monks and muslim scholars.

Perhaps you have difficulty reading simple English, so like Conceited, let me slow it down for you.

Here's what I said:

...he asks, from a cell phone/computer/tablet that was created because of principles derived from scientists, who are overwhelmingly irreligious.

Since you're completely ignorant of what words mean, "overwhelmingly irreligious" means that some of them ARE religious.

Heck, Isaac Newton was a creationist. Him being a believer does not discount him from being able to do science. However, the point was that the majority of scientists are atheist/irreligious. This is a documented fact.

The reason that is important is because the moron I was responding to and you're currently caping for asked when in history have atheists done anything.

Obviously, being that the majority of scientists are atheists, it's a stupid question.

Now the problem with what you've posted is easy enough to decipher-- you posted a link of religious people that have contributed to science. Congratulations: you've shown you can Google things.

I remind you the question was WHEN HAVE ATHEISTS CONTRIBUTED TO HUMANITY. Being that is the question:

Since you like Wikipedia, and all.

In *my* link, you will find atheists that have

- laid the foundation for modern optics
- created modern heterostructure physics, which led to solar cells, as one example
- worked on the Manhattan Project, specifically the nuclear chemistry
- coined the term "genetics"
- disproved the concept of vitalism, which has saved COUNTLESS lives, through the discovery that bacteria were alive and can only come from living beings
- discovered DNA
- created memes/memetics
- founded quantum mechanics
- refined algebra/ created the Dynkin diagram, system and lemma
- constructed human gene maps for color blindness and hemophilia
- discovered the bacteria that causes leprosy

The list goes on and on.

So you see, the point wasn't that ONLY the atheist does science, which is the strawman you're attempting to erect here. The point was that the people literally responsible for current, modern civilization happen to be atheist, and contribute to society in meaningful and critical ways.

No one discounts the contribution of the religious to science. But their contribution to modern scientific discovery pales in comparison to that of the atheist, and that is because modern science is incompatible with the teachings in religious texts. You will find ZERO whale researchers that call that animal a fish, in the way the bible does, for example. You'll find ZERO credible geologists that believe in a worldwide flood. You will find ZERO microbiologists that believe sickness is due to evil spirits.

id go even further and say religious stem people in the modern world are being disingenuous when they go to work and do something that 100% contradicts the teachings they allegedly “believe”, but still go on and claim ABC religion.

I think a big chunk of it is peer pressure . A lot of people’s social circles are based around a religion. Even though we are several centuries away from the days of Coppernicus and Galileo ; unfortunately, a doctor or physicist or botanist will still be ostracized from non-stem circles if they go ra-rah with the athiest talk .

Black families are typically tied to a church. Jewish venture capital and social commections are tied to a synagogue. Arab banking is governed by sharia. Indian marraiges and job hookups are tied to sikh temples. And so on and so on..

So with these secondary pressures , im doubtful of the contributions of these allegedly “religious” scientists.

As an interesting thought experiment, i would love attatch these alleged “relegious” stem people to a polygraph. Id love to ask them about the flood, or spirits, or etc. the World would turn on its head once those negative results come out :russ:

So a creator with all power decided to tell a specific human something and nobody else and he expected that humans would trust him to spread his beliefs across the world and he would never show back up again? LMAOOOOOOOO! Religion is great culturally. But people who take it at face value :mjlol: . Big respects to the guy that came up with hell and heaven lol. The OG SCIFI writer
Was rocking with you until the bolded. Most conflicts in America are either religion or race-based, and we see what religious conflicts do worldwide :skip:
