The conk and jerry curl eras both had black folks feeling like they had to change their hair to compete in society.... black men eventually recovered from that and embraced our shyt and obviously made it cool.... black women never quite bounced back unfortunately.... the harsh truth is, both black women and white women copy off each other ALL THE TIME
black women Lust after European brands, and yern to have the same luxuries white women have had for decades....
On the flip side, white women WISH they had the natural frames/physiques as black women and aged as gracefully as black women too
