i think the host was robert townsend.
it was a live performance show. it ran for at least a good 3 seasons. and i do recall nbc showing it on sunday afternoons at one point. probably in the summer when theres not many sporting events. but i mainly remember it as one of those late night shows that people used to try to stay up to watch. lol.
i guess this is a commercial for a best of 2000 tape.

lol. this thread str8 took me back to high school. the days when people used to stay up in the wee hours of saturday nights/sunday mornings watching music shows. i could just imagine all the f*ckery if cell phones were prominent back then.
