like I said DC Assault is a great program...the Catholic league down there is legit
WCAC hasnt produced an NBA player since Roger Mason Jr. DC ballers have moved past that now. AAU teams are what has helped the resurgence here.

Hold up.

Why are you completely disregarding the schools part in handing over a D1 scholarship?

Why are you blaming AAU coaches for that?

:wtf:

Because schools and AAU coaches do back room favors all the time for eachother....both are to blame obviously...but the AAU coach certainly has more of a relationship with the kid at the time than the school does.

No.....the schools is the BIGGER BLAME, giving a scholarship to a kid you're whinging about that doesn't deserve it.

They're the institution handing over an education to someone who isn't worthy of it, which hurts another student.

But you want to give AAU coaches EQUAL SHARE to that?

You're full of shyt man.

Yup if you were to clump DC/Bmore together they have the best talent in the L; KD, Melo, Rudy Gay, Michael Beasley, Ty Lawson, Roy Hibbert, Roger Mason, Delonte West, that's just off the top of my head

And thanks for proving my point.

Those factors are what schools take into account before handing a scholarship over to a kid, yet you want to give so much responsibility to an AAU coach for handing over a D1 scholarship to a kid.

Get the hell outta here with that. That's on the school, not an AAU coach.

Charles Barkley said it best last night "Brooklyn dudes live off of reputation"...Basically speaks for all NYC Metro Ballers...nikka thought because he had a big hype from high school that he gonna jump in the league after one year of college ball and be a legit baller...

Telfair chose to go straight to the league instead of doing some college and look at him...

nikkas need to mature their games in college man..

The biggest thing holding Lance back is his attitude. If anything, it's that "Brooklyn niqqa shyt" which is his biggest detriment.

Larry Bird says he's the most talented player on the roster, which is why he's still on the squad, but dude's attitude, the choking being the latest example, is what keeps him on the bench, along with not being a great defender.

But dude is probably going to see time down the road.
