I remember when in Newark you had OGs getting killed by bloods for not joining. Then you had those that got down for increase in profits and better drug connections.

It wasn’t until early 2000s where Forum Park started turning into Crip territory, and Braeswood became bloody. Spice Lane didn’t stop being stomp down BD territory until around 2007-2008.

GDs been in 5th Ward since the 80s, but I’m not from there so I don’t know all the details. I know Acres Homes and Garden City have had 52HGC for a long time, probably longer than the Southwest.

Other than those blocks you have 102 Piru and the Hoovers in 3rd Ward/South Park/Sunnyside, but even those aren’t hoods defined by gangs, gangs just exist in them.

You're right those neighborhoods aren't defined by gangs like the southwest I guess. I'm from the South side, but you made it seem like disciples were first in Houston. Which is not the case. Not even in 5th Ward I be over there since a kid and never met a GD in my life. I don't know how y'all stuff work over there on the southwest? I know the disciples was acting a ass in the early 90's.
