The great ones were absolutely driven to be legends and the top of their profession and critics and audiences let them know they when they succeeded.Legendary status is like 5% of hollywood/entertainment. People don't get on the stage/mic/court hoping to be a legend. They just do what they do best and want to do well in their own regard, regardless of what critics say. The voice of Wilma Flintstone might not be on the walk of fame but I'm sure she or her family aren't hurting. And even if that flintstone money has dried up I'm certain they're proud of her.
