I negged you for a reason.

look, i probably have no business speaking on this, cause im white... but i swear, all the time i be seeing on twitter black men making fun of black women for their "lil ole" ponytails and natural hair while retweetin women with light skinned weaves simpin them. there's tons of memes out there making fun of black women for their natural hair.. when men tear apart other women for what they deem as "not attractive", and pick out certain physical traits and you hold those same physical traits, it can fukk with you cause then you start questioning your physical appearance and what not. then I come on here, and see black men all on this anti-weave stance

sometimes someone tearing your physical appearance apart can have more of an affect on you, than someone trying to "build you up". especially when you're going about it in a way that comes off rude and more demeaning than an attempt at uplifting.

a few men on a message board claiming they want an all natural women is like an ant hill compared to the mountain of men that lead me to believe men prefer the other based upon the women they seem to "swoon" over.

idk its not of my business but its just kinda something i observed

you're defending an anecdote off of TWITTER?

What about women patrolling their own and forcing others to conform to THEIR appearance?

I gotta lightweight agree with this. And I usually don't agree with u @Juicy :comeon:. But yeah, just because the show "black girls rock" exists, it doesn't mean that its against black
men.

It doesn't have to be "against" black boys to pick up that it OMITS black boys.

Think of this.

If you want to be feminists, then include all aspects of the diaspora...but if you just want to make a public spectacle about "black girls" then it looks from the outside like the "community" is fragmented.

You're looking at this as an inside.

Imagine someone skimming through the TV Guide who sees this. It makes black people look like their shyt ain't together.

No other group of people do this.

Does your cattiness know no bounds? Do you see any black women going to complain to the knights foundation about why do you only focus on black boys? Who's stopping your leaders like Tommy Sotomayer and Tariq from creating/ funding similar organizations?

The audience was almost entirely black women and with little black girls sitting in the front rows, other than that there were also a few black men

The audience was definitely stocked with white men who looked like they were bankrolling the shyt. Look again.

Cattiness?

Think about what you're actually saying.

I've got NO beef with women's empowerment...but something about it seems REALLY off...I can NOT lie.

It sends a message to black boys that is FAR more subtle than you're willing to admit.

If there isn't a competing event within two years, then you'll know "their" mission has succeeded :mjpls:

why do u keep comparing urself to other groups. fukk wut cacs or mexicans r doing b. and yes there is special programs in the white community dedicated specially to the empowerment of women.

and how does it make us look fragmented that we have a program dedicated to women who face issues that differ from the ones men face? and why do u care how other races look at it?
