@Keith Harrow @His_Excellence_Reincar what exactly is the race track for again?

These kind of threads created by trolls to troll just arent a good look. Brings the whole forum down. Just like that weave thread that got out of control.

I know you two have a lot on your plate trying to moderate this mad house and honestly TLR needs a couple more mods because you all can't be everywhere at once obviously

THE OMISSION of black boys sends a subtle message.

The same what that an omission of the true is INDIRECTLY a lie. Same concept.

thats the point.

If this is KIDS we're talking about then it matters.

Young boys and young girls have the same if not very similar struggles to say its about "black girls" We're not talking about 18 year olds and grown ass men/women.
I definitely see where you're coming from but I think you may be overstating that particular issue. Or maybe I'm understating it, but I highly doubt it. Who do you think that subtle message is sent to? The young boys? Do young boys even watch this? This is one organization that caters to a specific demographic. It's not like it's an institution that's constantly there to remind young boys that black girls rock.

And yes black girls and black boys, while sharing struggles, go through different issues. A program catering young black males would be more geared towards preventing violence and things of that nature while a program such as black girls rock is more about self-worth and confidence. Im generalizing but these are two basic aspects that ask for a need for different programs.

ya'll wanna talk about raising black youth with positive imagery...and yet you want to pretend like there isn't some underlying message here when we talk about black BOYS.

:dahell: are they saying anything negative about black boys on the show? Are they c00ning and talking about how incredible white men are? Are they shytting on black men?

If the answer to those questions are no, you sounding like a jealous bytch mad cause somebody else have something you ain't got.

If anything, get mad at black male media personalities for not creating a platform for y'all to have a circle jerk session.

nikka whos gettin divided except u nikkas

im literally :mindblown: rite now

i dun understand was there a part during the show where they shyt on all black men? did Queen Latifah yell out "nikkas aint shyt!" and all the girls started applauding?

ur literally against a program thats helping little girls be more confident and successful.

honestly id like to know how it divides the community. maybe im missin something.

Same thing I'm thinking. I ain't never seen the show before (and I doubt there's a straight black male on this planet that has) but if it's a show for women to talk about the bullshyt women talk about, let them broads cook.

Like I said, it's estrogen laced behavior.

let's be real. the show is another vehicle for commercials to reach a targeting demographic. without ever watching one of these things, i'm sure they all were pitching hair products, and tyler perry flicks :beli:

It's an award show congratulating black women for not being black, cause all i see is hair-hats and perms. This show is disturbing. They don't even realize they embarrassing themselves.

Breh we are on the same page for the most part but this needs to stop......

you need to fix that post and put weaves instead of perms....

the issue is weaves, extensions, bleaching hair,etc....those are the c00n aspects and trying to be White washed because a lack of self esteem

perms....

the huge difference is Black women can get perms and don't necessarily have to look c00n like like what i listed above...

No lie, this show is cringe worthy :weirdo:

:laff: :laff: :laff: breh i love you(no elton john) i can't with you... :laff:

don't forget also.....she was talking about UNITY in the early 90s and preaching about guys saying "bytch" and "hoe" when i would guarantee my entire Coli account she used it in either jest or an insult to another women before....

along with popping up in biggie's one more chance video .....same song where im sure he said bytch or hoe :pachaha:

Cause black men in the industry haven't made it, (or at least get funding for it like black women). Maybe they think people will not tune in to watch it?
