Does anybody have evidence that supports the idea of Gates using his money and power to influence population control?

If yes, then the people should not respect him (if true) based on that alone, despite all the toys hes given us.

It shouldnt be a surprise when someone of his stature helps those in serious need.
We're so used to the powerful and wealthy not doing shyt for those less fortunate (with no strings attached) that we praise them for doing what (id assume) most of us would do if we had a quarter of the money and resources they have.
