How can you claim to be against white supremacy, but still perpetuate its legacy?

Because they are involved in all aspects of it.

What makes it "black culture"?

hiphop/rap culture was started by black people for black people. i'm not going to hand over something blacks created, just because cacs usurped the culture and artform.

Maybe but why aren't you and @PhonZhi fukked up if its like that then? Why y'all sooo special? That's why shyt y'all kicking on this sounds stupid. If y'all can think differently and not let it effect you why can't others? Maybe y'all just want to be the special ones faking concern about others just to hype up y'all "specialness"

the fukk are you talking about? i never claimed hiphop is to blame for the condition of the black community, but it certainly isn't doing us any favors. a lot of the "artist" spread toxic messages to impressionable youth. it also promotes a fukked up, unrealistic image of black men (and women) to outsiders.

its funny how the jews that own the shyt knows how powerful of a tool it is, but y'all nikkas want to act like it has no affect on the predominate listeners of the shyt.

Those of you who says hiphop culture has zero influence are actually the ones who "sound stupid"

I cant speak for anyone else but i worked in a youth detention center for 2 years. Ive seen the influence 1st hand. You dont agree? Fine. Plenty of people do, believe it or not.
So what does working in a youth detention center have to do with most black people? That coli bullshyt answers of I mentor that a lot of y'all use ain't flying over here esp when unless you trying to say most blacks spend some time in youth detention centers fukk is the point? On top of that way to use people doing bad to speak for most of us dude. Your shtick is see through dude.

The "predominant listeners" aren't black people.

So why aren't white people so adversely affected by rap music?

Same here.

Being responsible has never been "cool" in pop culture.

All or even most black people don't think dope fiends are "cool"

Most black people work hard and aspire to be successful/responsible regardless of what kind of music they listen to.

There's not some epidemic of young black kids wanting to grow up and sell dope.

You line 10 little black kids up and ask them what they want to do when they grow up 8 of them well say something responsible.

You view "black culture" through worldstar videos and Internet statistics, instead of actually being around black people.

He's a white truck driver in the south.

rappers told nikkas to get 22 inch rims, nikkas went out and bought 22 inch rims.

rappers told nikkas to drink promethazine, nikkas went out and started drinking lean

rappers called women "thots," now you nikkas callin women thots

rappers told nikkas to "fukk up some commas," on bullshyt, nikkas went out and fukked they money on bullshyt

rappers told nikkas to get on molly, now nikkas cant get enough of them pills

rappers told nikkas to buy louis, gucci, versace, so nikkas went out and bought that shyt

rappers told nikkas to buy bape, redmonkey, lrg, so nikkas went out and bought that shyt

i mean, i'm tired of this stupid ass debate. rap is INFLUENTIAL. if the hottest rappers were talkin bout building businesses, steady families, becoming doctors, lawyers, dentist, etc--nikkas would go out and do that shyt too. unfortunately, we dont control the artform, so we're being persuaded to be "trap lords" and stick up kids

Dont backpedal. Doesnt matter if "most" black ppl arent influenced by it. Cells are needed to be occupied in the Prison Industrial Complex. It has an affect on minds. Nothing u say will change this truth to false. Sorry. Its real.

You cats always like running with the equivalent of what about the kids too I see. Ole,what are other going to think about us ass dudes. They were going to think what they thought regardless. You think if it wasn't music it wouldn't been something else? Come on dude. You still didn't answer my question how are y'all so special? You never listened to rap, good parents, what? Share with us the special sauce to make y'all soo above it but apparently no one else can be. You don't know no powerful Jews nikka stop sucking off cats you don't even know. Wish y'all would stop that shyt. Always romanticizing the next group. Guess good parents don't help or anything like that but what the fukk do I or others on here know since we listen to the same music but aren't all fukked up.

whites are 5-6x the size of blacks, of course we aren't the predominant listeners. whites aren't so adversely affected because they come from intact patriarchies, instead of broken communities that lack opportunity. when billy hears about trapping and selling drugs, he actually has a father or uncle that can employ him, and deter him from criminality. when chad starts developing drug habits, he has family that will put in him rehab for rehabilitation--plus, he'll get cut off the inheritance if he doesn't clean up.

there is no structure in the black community. there's no safety net or second chances. so for all the impressionable youth, without fathers or mentors, they look towards a lot of these rappers for a positive male identity.
