OKC problem isn't their roster. It's the mentality of their PG. He's a hog, who doesn't want the offense to score without him. He either HAS to have an assist, rebound, or points. If he's not involved directly, he stops trying.

As they are now, they need someone like Harrison Barnes on their team (a quiet all star) to get them to the second round and beyond.

Maybe it's not the roster. Even though a legit 2 guard would help. Losing Roberson hurt. Watching nba tv they were talking about everyone should touch the ball and how I want Westbrook to make his first 7 shots cause he'll keep shooting. I don't get it. U have a hall of game point guard on your staff yet Russ still doesn't get it. The problem is Donovan and Russ. Not the roster.

TYRONE GA!
Naw the PG deal worked out well for them and probably badly for PG. I’m talking the Adams extension. Taking on Schroeder contract. Presti didn’t want to go over the tax for Harden but will for Adams, Roberson, and Grant?
That was the owner Clay Bennett. He fukked up with that move not wanting to pay the luxury tax to keep Harden.

Now he's over compensating by having the largest luxury tax bill for the current team. All on him. And Donovan has to go.

They are stuck lol. They need a shooter at sg and stretch 4/5 and let Westbrook handle it in the post. He is declining mainly because he is over confident in his shot.

That world class first step is gone. I said this elsewhere but when Derrick Rose was falling off, many just couldn't see it at first. It took them awhile to see, he just isn't the same player. More and more people are coming to that realization with Sabo.

I didn't see last night's game but I have noticed whenever Adam's is doing well they always mysteriously stop giving him the ball.

They need smarter coaching, there's no excuse they got Russ and PG

Theyre fukkd

They cant draft for shyt....they keep drafting athletic guards who cant shoot.

Need a total reset

How u go from drafting 3 MVP caliber players in a row and keeping the worst one is :mindblown:

OKC needs a coach/front office that will hold Russell Westbrook accountable and make him play within a system/flow of the game.

That's it. Until somebody in that organization can full-on CHECK Westbrook (and he'll listen, which is the issue) this is their ceiling. 44-49 wins, 4-6 seed, out of the playoffs in 6 games.

The roster may not be ideal, but there's enough pieces on-paper for OKC to be a perennial semifinalist in the West. Maybe get to the WCF with a couple breaks.

They'll be fun to watch, but they'll never do anything. Because Westbrook, as good and as ferocious as he can be ... his style of play strikes me as someone who feels like he HAS to be the reason why the team wins, otherwise it doesn't matter.
