Hell no it isn't.
Those proceeds going to the same kids who'd get harrassed in Barney's just off the strength of them looking like poor inner city kids. That's called damage control....cause there was no initial intention of doing that shyt.
Why not pull a Starbury or Fat Joe, and make some affordable shyt... those poor kids could buy with their own money?
Hell... why not buy up some franchise fast food chains, and give those kids jobs..so they can pay for their own schooling.
He could've done like Trae, host an event where people can get tested for everything from diabetes to STD's, kids can get free school supplies etc.

tweets were clearly from his pr team, not him...but, it speaks to the point that they say theyre in it for the long haul. nothing was gonna be perfect. the interesting thing now will be to see if they learn from their mistake or double down.
spotify and pandora have greater market share, larger catalogs and apple/beats is creepin on a june come up. they need to figure out some way to add a free feature because the longer they pretend like folks are gonna shell over $10-$20 for something they can get elsewhere w/ other options, theyre shooting themselves in the foot.
