Glad to see the Rays are getting a new stadium. They needed it and I hope they get a fan base now. Too bad it's not actually in Tampa
No retractable roof.
Turf field.

Taxpayers still on the hook for probably 50% of the cost.

And it seems there won’t be any public transit to access the stadium — at least from the renderings — so traffic will be horrific.

The good thing is it will be new. People like new.

But it seems like a missed opportunity. Let’s see how the unveiling goes. There will be more details.

They don’t even sell out games until they make the playoffs :skip:

Should’ve just renovated the Trop for a lot less and played out of Miami U or some shyt during the down time. Oh well, not my money :pachaha:

Ain't nobody catching a bus (there's no subway in Tampa) to a Rays game in the Tampa Bay area :heh:

EDIT: I see the roof will the covered and open air at the same time, that Florida humidity seeping into the stadium :scust:

If the Blue Jays offense really is as bad as their fanbase says it is, I hope they miss the playoffs with the Rangers and Mariners getting the last two spots instead :hubie:

I just want to see competitive series in October :whoo:

Florida is the flattest State in the country.

There is absolutely zero reason why it shouldn’t be packed with bike lanes and trams.

Did Pedro ever have Tommy John surgery?
I can’t find any record, he’s predicted 2 players years in advance that would need TJ surgery because of their mechanics. Dude would make a metric fk ton as a pitching coach but it looks like he wants to be in the booth
