Saw it coming when Manfred's bytch ass was blabbing earlier this year. Expected better from Attanasio, but they're all the same in the end.
Where the fk are the Brewers going to play ball at? :pachaha:

MAYBE Austin but I doubt they want Texas having 3 teams, MAYBE OKC or Portland so they can finally realign the divisions evenly. I can’t think of any other cities, they aren’t going to let Houston Dallas or KC have two teams.

In the article I posted, Nashville and Charlotte were mentioned as likely spots.

Phillies on fire right now.
Slow start doomed Phillies chances for an NL East race but they locking up the top Wild Card and they not even healthy

Jon Singleton with 2 HRs and 5 RBI in 2AB. What a story. :banderas:

At the game right now for Verlander home debut (and didn’t know Jon was getting the start)

He shall now be named Lil Jon

Since losing 4 in a row from July 19 - July 22, the Phillies are 13-6.

They are 9.5 games behind Atlanta.
But they hold a 4.5 game lead in the NL Wild Card.

In the playoffs, anything can happen. And the Phillies have the kind of offense that can erupt at any moment. They're not as deep and not as good as the Braves, but they're dangerous.

What concerns me is that Aaron Nola doesn't look nearly as dominant in 2023 as he did in 2022. So the Nola/Wheeler pairing isn't as scary as it could be.

What I don't understand is why the Phillies insist on keeping Matt Strahm as a bullpen guy when I think he belongs in the rotation.
He had some good starts earlier in the season but they sent him to the bullpen to make room for fukkin Ranger Suarez who is average AT BEST.

Ranger been injured this year and after coming back doesn't seem to be the same as last year as of yet. He leaves his pitches high as fukk. I am not worried about him because I think he will move to the bullpen come playoffs.

Nola is who he is. He is hated in Philly and the organization thought he would take that leap to be an Ace but he just not that. He is more of a 3rd pitcher at best. Contract year and he stuck it up.

Strahm is best in the bullpen because we didn't have nobody. Dominguez just came back and Alvarado about to rehab in the minors.
