I don't see it being talked about anywhere but Acuna's strikeout rate is WAY down this season. For his career, he was averaging over one a game. This year, he's about one every other game.
What's that translated to? A career high .339 batting average; career high in OBP and OPS; on pace for over 200 hits; on pace for a career high in runs; already a career high in stolen bases and on pace for 70+; already has a career high in doubles and on pace for about 40; still gonna wind up with 30+ home runs.
In short, Acuna has been unlocked this year and it should be sending a clear message across baseball about what kind of approach hitters should be taking at the plate.

His K rate is cut in half.
But like most high average hitters, Acuna hasn’t sacrificed hard contact.
He’s learned to become more selective but he releases the Kraken when he does swing.
Very few hitters have that kind of plate discipline and power. That’s Barry Bonds, Albert Pujols material.
It’ll be interesting to see if this carries over in the future

Even if they don't, I think there's a real strong chance he goes in with an Astros cap, now that he's likely ending his career in Houston. In his three full seasons in Houston, he's won two Cy Youngs and finished second the other year.Well, we are here now then

They should be able to give guys multiple hats. This guy's basically had two Hall of Fame careers, one in each city.
Same with Ryan and Larry Johnson once they figured out how to pitch rather than just be hurlers.
